The brief was a Corporate Identity Design for 11Fifty (a financial institution seeking to bridge the vast economic gap in South Africa). We came up with a friendly, approachable CI, as well as a matching illustration library, app look and feel and web designs to launch.

The 11Fifty Corporate Identity Design project was a distinct but welcome challenge. Our task was to brand a financial institution dedicated to narrowing South Africa’s economic divide. This resulted in a welcoming and recognisable corporate identity (CI). Our objective was to create a CI that resonated with a diverse audience, while portraying 11Fifty as friendly and approachable within the often intimidating finance sector. We aimed to make the brand come to life, and imbue it with a sense of inclusivity.
We also developed an illustration library that complemented the CI, encapsulating the spirit of unity and empowerment and aligning seamlessly with the organisation’s mission. To ensure consistency, we extended our efforts to design a cohesive look and feel for the 11Fifty mobile app, and created an intuitive interface for simplified financial interactions.
Furthermore, we crafted an engaging and informative website, serving as the cornerstone of 11Fifty’s online presence. This platform not only conveys essential information but also reflects the brand’s warmth and accessibility. It serves as a launching pad for their mission. In so doing, it connects with a broader audience and promotes 11Fifty’s significant work in bridging South Africa’s economic divide.
